Dams

Elite Donors and Matrons of Influence

A flock is only as good as its maternal genetics. We pride ourselves on sourcing and developing world-class sheep families that stand the test of time. Fads come and go but what counts is consistency and performance over time. Many breeders can find an individual animal that can win the show season. But few have the patience to build and refine families over time to provide seedstock to the breed. It is our mission. We absolutely love going out in the pasture and seeing daughters, mothers, grandmothers and great-grandmothers grazing together. Its the most gratifying thing as a breeder.

Below are the females we are building our program around. They are required to be functional and efficient in raising high performing offspring and look good doing it. We continually refine metrics to promote improvement in the flock.

"DayDream" was our pick of the 2026 Mean Girls Sale from Aaron and Brier Day. In Aaron's words she is a powerhouse with a massive hip and soft center. Yet still neat through the chest floor and neck set. Her sire was the reserve supreme champion ram at the Missouri State Fair. Her mother is a large-framed that goes back to RR Dorper breeding.

1514 was our pick of the 2025 Zermeno Ranch production sale. She is by "IL Pardino" one of Jesus' lead sires. She checks all the length and width boxes.  Her foundation structure will allow her to be bred in multiple directions. We are excited to get to work with her.

25033 was our pick of the 2025 Texas Hill County Sale. She is a Patriot daughter covered by RF 7142 Johnny P. Johnny P is doing amazing things covering Patriot daughters and 25033 is a prototype. She has a well structured front end, level top and soggy back third. We are excited to mate her and draw upon the power and femineity of this genetic package.

Dam: EF131668 RF 6905

          Grand Dam: EF101597 RF 6395

"Peanut" was our pick of the 2024 Texas Hill Country Show/Sale. We wanted to add a Patriot daughter to our donor pen. In 2322 we not only got a Patriot but a direct daughter of the renowned RF 6905 donor bred by Riverwood Farms. These are foundation genetics that we are excited to build on. 2322 is long and correct. Her length of neck blends well into her shoulder and front third.

Dam: EF149709 RR Dorpers 2021

Grand Dam: EF116978 RR Dorpers 726

"Oreo" was our pick from the 2024 National Dorper sale in Duncan, OK. We strategically are seeking genetics from the best breeders in the US that share our sense of what an 'ideal' phenotype represents and doesn't neglect productive excellence for flash. RR Dorpers are just one of those breeders. 2214 is built right front to back, top to bottom. Her neck and shoulder blend so well into her middle. She exhibits a nice level top and rounds it off with real depth. She is square on all four and has a developed twist that dorpers can miss on sometimes. Addison successfully showed "Oreo" at the 2024 WSDA Youth Show where she earned a belt buckle.

Dam: EF167413 HC 6 3437

Grand Dam: EF126128 Powell Ranch 8471

"Phillie" was our pick from the 2024 WSDA Show/Sale. Phillip Glass brought her from Texas. We are a baseball family and love following the Phillies and of course Phillip Glass is the breeder so nicknaming 3586 "Phillie" made all the sense in the world.  She is double bred NK 1766. As you evaluate her structure you realize how much power and width she has. Feet are so important in sheep. Her feet and legs are beautiful. Her topline perfect and you could eat lunch on her back.
